Kaumbi & Co. Advocates Law firm was established on 17th December 2014 by Mr. Kaumbi Kioga in Meru town with the sole aim and objective of delivering the best possible solutions for our clients. On 5th February 2016, the firm opened a branch office at Nanyuki town.
We mainly deal with legal matters pertaining to litigation, conveyance, debt collection and general legal consultancy.
Litigation
At Kaumbi & Company Advocates, we mainly handle Civil, Criminal and Public Interest Litigation, with the core aim of efficiently and effectively dissolving disputes and/or compromising the same in the best interest of our clients.
Legal Audit and Advisory Services
The State Corporations Act makes it compulsory for all states corporations to comply with various corporate governance codes for public institutions as set out by “mwongozo”. We offer Legal Audit and Advisory Services in evaluating Employee Risk Management, Contract Agreements, Legal remedies and offer advise on legal internal audit process.
Intellectual Property and Tax Law
We offer advisory services on intellectual property rights and tax laws to our clients with respect to Copyrights, Trademarks, Patents and Designs; and also assist client either individual or corporate, in aligning their tax details to the Income Tax Act.
Corporate, Commercial and Contract Law
We at Kaumbi & Co. Advocates have the competency in advising and giving legal opinion on various statutes that touch on Corporate, Commercial and Contract Law. We keep ourselves updated on various business practices to enable our clients enjoy efficiency advice, draft, revised and resolve of contract dispute.
Probate and Administration Law
We have been able to advice our clients on various issues surrounding inheritance, including drafting of wills, negotiate on intestate distribution of estate in the most equitable manner and generally ensure the beneficiaries relationship do not degenerate to the extent of wasting the entire estate in litigation and court battles by settling family trusts.
